Stephen recently co-created the breakout comedy series "The Holdouts" starring Kevin Corrigan, Jayce Bartok, Michael Buscemi and Deirdre O’Connell (Savin Rock Entertainment, USA). He also directed the Pilot Episode for The Holdouts "Change is Bad" which was the official section at SERIESFEST 2017 and picked up a best actor in a comedy award at the festival. He wrote/directed the short film Cafe Cacahuete (Giselle Productions, FRANCE) that was the official selection at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival and received a Ford Foundation Grant for his documentary research on legendary boxer Leon Spinks.
Stephen has written and directed a host of digital content for brands including Konica Minolta, Citizen, Alibaba and Incyte Pharma and has also written and directed films and commercials for the Young Survival Coalition, National Parks Conservation Association, EcoEnterprises Fund, Nathan Cummings Foundation, OECD and the Ford Foundation.
His plays have also been produced Off-Broadway and developed at award-winning institutions that include the The Lark, NYU Studio Tisch, New York Stage & Film and The Echo Theater Company. His work as a NYC writer/director was recently featured in The New York Times Cover Story "Artists and Their Muse: Gentrification (December, 2016).
