Bio

A little bit about stevieg

Who knows what these bio sections are supposed to be about, but I can tell you this much - I love to tell stories. I love to collaborate. And nothing beats that feeling when we’re in the zone and creating something special.

Before I started working, I received a B.F.A from the University of Connecticut School of Drama, and a diploma from the Chautauqua Theater Company. I studied theater with Ron Van Lieu, writing with Tom Noonan, and directing with Joseph Chaikin, who taught me that the best dramas involve triangle relationships.

My first play, Orange Alert, was produced Off-Broadway at the Algonquin Seaport Theater. The NY critics were kind, and the play even made NY1’s “Pick of the Week”. I went on to write and direct episodic TV, branded films, short docs, and several commercials.

I still create my own content, and recently my writing partner, Dan Menke, and I teamed up with writer/director Ed Burns to create and direct the TV pilot “The Holdouts”, which won Best Pilot at the Chicago Int’l Film Festival.

I currently live in New York City, and just completed principal photography on my very first music video.
